A new plant in Dantali in the North Indian state of Gujarat has opened its doors. This brings us closer to important customers and partners in the Northern regions of the country.
Grundfos takes another important step in India with the opening of a new plant in Dantali, Gujarat. From here, we are going to produce and ship boosters and boxed products to our customers in the Northern regions of India, and we are going to supply our global Operations organization with stainless steel components.
“This is also a significant strategic move in the important Indian market. We strengthen our presence and closeness to customers in this region, and we establish ourselves in the vibrant and green frontrunner state Gujarat,” said Stéphane Simonetta, Group Executive Vice President and COO.
Ranganath N. Krishna, Managing Director of Grundfos India seconded him, stating that this move will be of great importance also when it comes to shortening lead times to our customers in the Northern and Western regions of India.
Grundfos has been present in India for almost 20 years, and approximately 250 colleagues work in the country.
